Our Trustee Opportunity Travel Grant program is now open to high school students intending to apply to Kenyon during the 2018-19 academic year. The travel grant application is available to US citizens, permanent residents, and Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) recipients who identify as students of color and/or first-generation students whose parents do not have four year college degrees. The travel grant covers all transportation costs to campus for our Cultural Connections fly-in program, or students may use their travel grant for one of three other campus visit options:Cultural Connections: Oct. 28-30, 2018 (travel grant deadline: Oct. 14)September Visit Program: Sept. 23-24, 2018 (travel grant deadline: Aug. 31)October Visit Program: Oct. 7-8, 2018 (travel grant deadline: Sept. 14)Custom Day Visit: Visit for the day or extend your day visit to include an overnight stay on select Sundays or Thursdays between Oct. 2018 and Jan. 2019. If you drive to campus, the grant will provide $50 to offset travel costs. Students who cancel and/or change reservations for any reason after airline tickets have been purchased are responsible for 100% of their travel costs or any change fees incurred. The grant will cover airfare to/from the campus or mileage reimbursement for those within driving distance.
