Trustee Opportunity Travel Grant Application (2013 Fall-2019 Fall)

Our Trustee Opportunity Travel Grant program is now open to high school students intending to apply to Kenyon during the 2018-19 academic year. The travel grant application is available to US citizens, permanent residents, and Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) recipients who identify as students of color and/or first-generation students whose parents do not have four year college degrees.

The travel grant covers all transportation costs to campus for our Cultural Connections fly-in program, or students may use their travel grant for one of three other campus visit options:

Cultural Connections: Oct. 28-30, 2018 (travel grant deadline: Oct. 14)
September Visit Program: Sept. 23-24, 2018 (travel grant deadline: Aug. 31)
October Visit Program: Oct. 7-8, 2018 (travel grant deadline: Sept. 14)
Custom Day Visit: Visit for the day or extend your day visit to include an overnight stay on select Sundays or Thursdays between Oct. 2018 and Jan. 2019. (travel grant deadline: Jan. 4)

Please wait to register for a visit until you have heard back from the Office of Admissions regarding your travel grant application decision. Email our office at diversity@kenyon.edu or call us at 800-848-2468 if you have questions about the program.

For travel grant recipients, Kenyon will purchase your airline ticket. If you drive to campus, the grant will provide $50 to offset travel costs. Students who cancel and/or change reservations for any reason after airline tickets have been purchased are responsible for 100% of their travel costs or any change fees incurred.

The grant will cover airfare to/from the campus or mileage reimbursement for those within driving distance. Students who cancel and/or change reservations for any reason after airline tickets have been purchased are responsible for 100% of their travel costs or any change fees incurred.

    Registration is no longer available.
