NOTE: The deadline for applying for a travel grant for Cultural Connections II (December 7-8) has expired.
If you are awarded a travel grant, Kenyon will purchase your airline ticket and cover 90% of the lowest advertised airfare, subsidizing the ticket cost up to $500. If you drive to campus, the grant will provide $50 to offset travel costs. Those recipients who fly to campus are expected to reimburse Kenyon for 10% of their total airfare. Students who cancel and/or change reservations for any reason after airline tickets have been purchased are responsible for 100% of their travel costs or any change fees incurred.
Please call Barb Cannon at 800-848-2468 if you have questions about the program. The deadline (for high school seniors graduating in 2015) to submit the travel grant application is Monday, December 15, 2014, and the deadline to use an approved travel grant is Sunday, February 15, 2015.
