Kenyon L.A. is a selective two-week pilot program bringing Kenyon College students to Los Angeles for immersive academic study and hands-on career exploration in film, media, and related fields. Designed for rising juniors and seniors, this program combines a screenwriting intensive led by Jon Tazewell with professional experiences ranging from job shadows and site visits to panel discussions and networking events with professionals in the entertainment industry and related or intersecting fields. Students will come away from this program with a refined creative project, stronger professional skills, and a clearer understanding of potential career paths.

Open to all current sophomores and juniors; priority may be given to students with a demonstrated interest in film, media, and related fields. The deadline to apply is March 20, 2026.
$4,000, which covers all program expenses including housing, meals, and events. Airfare is not included. Financial aid is available.
